It’s been several years since I completed CPL with MEIR from ANAC and I’m happily employed at a great international low-cost airline as a First Officer, flying the Airbus A320/21 and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend ANAC to anyone who is looking to start their flight training. The standard of training was brilliant with extremely experienced instructors who made a lot effort to teach and pass on their knowledge to you as a student. Overall a fantastic and extremely friendly training environment with everyone being extremely approachable make it a great training environment.

There are many different flying jobs however the vast majority of people who train with us are hoping to work for an Airline. Each airline around the world may have slightly different entry requirements however the common requirements are:

  • A Commercial Pilot Licence
  • A Multi Engine Endorsement
  • An Instrument Rating

Our Pilot school Australia provides the Diploma of Aviation (Commercial Pilot License) and Diploma of Aviation (Instrument Rating) which include these qualifications. Therefore these are the courses of choice for most of our students. For most countries the 208 hour Diploma of Aviation with Multi Engine Instrument Rating program (which includes 70 hours pilot in command/solo) is sufficient to meet your requirements.

With these qualifications you will be in a position to make application to your local airline to be taken on by them and trained in the aircraft type they wish you to fly.

If you have any specific requirements that do not appear to be met by our courses, please let us know what they are and we will design a course that meets your needs.

If you are learning to fly as a hobby rather than a career then you only need to undertake the Private Pilot Licence course. This licence allows you to fly with passengers anywhere in Australia (or worldwide once you do the local conversion). The main difference between a Private Licence and a Commercial Licence is that with a Commercial Licence you may fly for hire or reward (i.e get paid) whilst a Private Pilot Licence holder may not.

For further details on the courses offered by us, please go to the Courses section of this website.

To work out how much your course will cost, please visit the Course Information section of this website.

  • Landing fees and Air Services charges (allow a budget of AUD$2000-$2500)

Some suburbs that are close to us are: Mentone, Cheltenham, Parkdale, Mordialloc, Aspendale, Hyatt, Beaumaris, Moorabbin and Dingley. These suburbs are all 25-30 minutes drive from the city center.
