Usually on a student visa you can legally work up to 40 hours in each 2 week period.
At the time of updating this (April2022) there was no working hours limit as an adjustment for demand for workers linked to covid.
You will need to monitor this when you come to Australia to see whether there is still no limit or whether things have reverted to the 40 hours/fortnight.
Do not expect to come to Australia and earn enough to pay for your course.
You can only expect to earn enough to help subsidise your living expenses.
The average pay for a casual worker is $18-25/hour.
We cannot arrange work for you. All of our students who wish to work have been able to find part time jobs.
Please note: to be issued a student visa the Australian Department of Home Affairs requires you to have sufficient funds to pay the course fees and living expenses for the duration of the course.
