As a large country with long distances between places, aviation has become an important form of transport for many communities and people. As soon as you have completed your Private Pilot license (the first step towards your Commercial Pilot License), you will be entitled to fly an aircraft with yourself and your friends anywhere in Australia. If doing your Commercial Pilot license you will need to build one hundred hours solo flight time before you sit the Commercial Pilot License flight test. This “solo hours building” time is a great opportunity for you to get out and explore Australia as part of your course. For many of us this is the best time of our flight training – getting the freedom to take off and go anywhere is a fantastic feeling and allows you to get to places you may not otherwise have gone.
